Buckwild

Band Bio

Based in Northeast Oklahoma and Southeast Kansas, Buckwild is a seasoned country-rock band that’s been lighting up venues and festivals across the Midwest with their signature blend of country roots and rock-driven energy. Their sound bridges generations—mixing the storytelling soul of classic country, the nostalgia of 90s country hits, and the edge of modern rock—with just enough variety to keep every crowd on their feet.

Frontman Sam Schaper and multi-instrumentalist Tim Townley share vocal duties, trading harmonies and guitar work that set the tone for Buckwild’s unmistakable sound. With Nolan Schaper holding down the low end on bass and Ethan Swearingen driving the groove on drums, the band’s tight rhythm section provides the heartbeat behind every song.

Drawing influence from legends like George Strait, Brooks & Dunn, and ZZ Top to modern acts like Chris Stapleton, Morgan Wallen, and Alice in Chains, Buckwild seamlessly blends traditional and contemporary styles into a sound that’s their own. Their performances are packed with energy, authenticity, and musicianship—making every show a party for country fans and rock lovers alike.

Having played countless stages throughout the Midwest, Buckwild has earned their reputation as one of the region’s premier live acts. Whether it’s a packed dance hall, outdoor festival, or local honky-tonk, Buckwild brings the same passion and professional polish that keeps audiences coming back for more.
